WorkSkills screenshotOn vision2learn the Edexcel WorkSkills suite of 38 units offer learners the opportunity to gain relevant, job–related skills. The suite has been developed in direct response to the Government’s Leitch Report and following consultation with schools, colleges, employers and training providers.

The WorkSkills suite consists of 38 units that can be tailored to a learner’s own vocational area, allowing them to in effect ‘design their own BTEC’. Learners have the flexibility to choose as many or as few units as is right for them and to wrap them in a qualification that is relevant to their needs.

The units have been written for a variety of contexts: schools, colleges, adults, volunteers, home carers, employers and offenders.

WorkSkills e-learning units, endorsed by Edexcel, are now available on vision2learn – click to take a look at a short taster.

New Level 1 units now LIVE

Eight new Edexcel WorkSkills units at Level 1 are online now with vision2learn. The eight different short e-courses help learners to develop their ‘work-ready’ skills.

Each unit has a credit value and learners can receive an Edexcel Unit Certificate for each Unit they complete. And when they build up 3 credits they achieve a brand new nationally-recognised qualification – the BTEC Award in WorkSkills (Level 1). Learners can also work towards gaining 13 credit values to achieve an Edexcel Level 1 Certificate in WorkSkills (QCF).
