Brenda Mills – IT programmes
Sixty–two–year–old Brenda Mills lives in Darlington in County Durham. Brenda’s many and varied interests include
reading, writing, music, crafts, self–improvement and computers. Before retiring, Brenda was employed as an Administrator and has
worked in many different professions over the years, fitting her jobs around childcare responsibilities.
Brenda was surfing the ‘net looking for online computer courses when she came across vision2learn. She was thrilled to find a great range of free IT programmes that she could complete online.
After looking at the options available, Brenda opted for an intermediate level vision2learn IT course and she hasn’t looked back. She said:
"The course has given me a lot more confidence using my laptop and software, especially with regard to emails and security. I really enjoyed learning at my own pace and had a great sense of achievement on completing the course."
Brenda is really positive about vision2learn and e–learning and is keen to further her skills with more advanced IT courses. She added:

If she came across any problems, Brenda could contact her online tutor for help and advice. She commented:
"I think I would have found it more difficult to complete the course without my tutor’s guidance. She helped me if I came across a problem and kept me well informed."
Brenda proves that it’s never too late to learn. She’s gained loads of useful new computer skills and is well on her way to becoming an IT whizz!
